APW - Peoria Watch Co, "For Railway Service" marked mvt and dial, 15J, 18S, 4oz coin silver HC recase with attractive engine turning and engraving detail, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, non-magnetic alloy hairspring, mvt marked "Anti-Magnetic," checkerboard pattern nickel damascene, s#15719.
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, balance will tick weakly if given a twist and additional pressure is held at crown, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with mild toning and scattered micro-fine scratches, very minor oxide to regulator assembly; dial with faint hl from 3 to seconds-register, ultra-fine surface scratch to center near 9, scattered negligible edge flakes under bezel; excellent hands; case front lift spring is not making contact with lid through final portion of opening range allowing lid to tip very slightly back toward closed with gravity, case shows very light wear, dent to left rear near shoulder, few dings along band, reduced engine turning and engraving detail, front opens slightly less than 90 degrees; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
